‘CHAMPAGNE & CAVIAR’ YACHT

The original intention was to make the most luxurious charter boat on the water"

YACHT CONCEPT

We bet you'll ask why champagne and caviar. It is not about the dishes served on board, but about the serial yachts owner's aesthetic desire to realize her in a topic of these precious items. Which was achieved by the visionary | Espen Oeino | in exterior using a champagne-coloured hull and jet-black mast and by well-known design duo | Pascale Reymond | and | Andrew Langton | in a countless number of interior elements.

Rated one of the top 100 largest yachts in the world the multi-award winning  5-deck WHISPER* (ex KISMET**) was built to the highest standards of quality and scale by the German shipyard 'Lurssen' for Shahid Khan***, an experienced yacht owner, Pakistani-born American billionaire and owner of 2 football teams on both sides of the Atlantic. Doesn’t do things in half-measures, he set out to build a charter mega-yacht for himself and his guests that would be the epitome of luxury and uncompromised perfection.

OUTSIDE SPACE

Featuring the pioneering styling of the acclaimed Espen Oeino, the WHISPER's exterior has been gracefully shaped in order to meet the owner’s brief for a yacht which would be an unrivalled charter choice and a premier entertainer. Built with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, she is sleek, and replete with all of the amenities necessary for satisfying the modern charterer. (Owner has certainly made an example of himself).

One such conversation point regarding her exterior is the mosaic tiled pool with an inset Jacuzzi on the upper foredeck. Due to its position, this Jacuzzi affords guests the perfect observation platform from which to overlook the sea and coastlines whilst underway or at-anchor. For those who prefer to remain dry whilst taking in the sights, four Stidd chairs have been strategically placed around the Jacuzzi in order to provide the same scope without obstructing the view of those taking a soak.

To get even higher to secure an unparalleled photo opportunity, a winding staircase a short distance away provides access to a dedicated observation deck which can be enjoyed throughout the day.

Keen to keep guests entertained at night as well as by day, a fire pit with an integrated waterfall has been installed on the aft deck to provide just the right amount of heat for guests who want to enjoy their meals al freso at the dining table just a short distance away. (Fire pit also converts into a cocktail table.)

Bearing a walkaround layout, the team at Espen Oeino have recessed all of the storage compartments to allow for an undisrupted flow when navigating the various outdoor spaces of WHISPER - a decision which likewise provides the perfect excuse for taking an evening stroll to coincide with the sunset.

Another uniquely impressive addition to the exterior is the secondary helipad on the foredeck which nicely doubles up as a basketball court, whilst the helipad on the bridge deck is easily converted into an exceptionally relaxed outdoor lounging area.

INTERIOR

Asked to create a compelling and distinct interior based on a ‘Champagne & Caviar’ theme, Reymond Langton Design was inspired by the image of an ornate gentleman’s club in a style of a far-out luxe and arranged both the social and private spaces to remain suitable whether guests are throwing a glamorous party or simply relaxing over a few drinks.

The WHISPER interior, flowing seamlessly from the exterior through the marbled and metallic walled foyer, is every bit as innovative as that one. The heart of the yacht, the grand atrium, occupies 2 decks in height (main and upper), connected by a wide ornate Art Deco central staircase and framed by two video walls of 42 monitors of 140 cm each, full height for admiring paintings by artists or watching sports matches. The juxtaposition of blacks and golds, gold-leaf finishes and backlit onyx creates a strikingly luxurious ambience.

When you ascend the stairs to the upper deck to appreciate the main salon from above, you're in for a wow surprise in the form of an etched glass catwalk floor which leads you to the formal dining room and luxurious lounge.

The centerpiece of the piano lounge is of course the metallic piano and the champagne-colored 350kg Crystal Caviar chandelier above. Piano was custom crafted by Based Upon of London, chosen for their personal commissioning of functional art. Although it looks like a sailboat hull, the keyboard may be used in either musician mode or selfie and can be heard on 2 decks.

The main deck lounge, with its Art Deco ceiling, fireplace, infinitely cozy upholstered furniture and gentleman's club feel, easily and effortlessly transforms into a luxurious movie theater.

When entertaining guests, the climate-controlled winter garden with sliding glass panels is the hub of sociability. Both heated and air-conditioned, the area suits the yacht’s cruising itinerary of the Caribbean in winter and the Mediterranean in summer.

The skylounge, meanwhile, exudes a more casual atmosphere thanks to its beach house style decor. Yet, with a large sports bar that opens out across the vast deck aft, the space easily transforms into a disco nightclub.

GUEST ACCOMMODATION

7 luxurious cabins for up to 14 guests are a masterpiece of design by British Reymond Langton Design. The owner's intention was to impress his privileged guests with style, luxury and attention, and he has certainly succeeded.

Each guest stateroom and/or bathroom has an individual motif. Here you will find Oriental glamor and Japanese laconism, as well as Art Deco and Art Nouveau. The diversity of exotic and unique materials utilized for interior decor is beyond comprehension.

The master suite taking up most of the forward half of the upper deck includes the owner’s office with full ensuite bath, owner’s boudoir, owner’s lobby, His and Her separate bathing rooms with marble and onyx & room-size dressing rooms (mistress has a king-size Jacuzzi bathtub, which he does not), the owners’ full sweep stateroom with king-size bed and sliding hatch above for stargazing, 90º panoramic views and its own entire forward deck with private Jacuzzi and lounge beds.

For convenience and, again, privacy of the owner/charterer, the master suite has its own access to a helipad that doubles as a basketball court (which is only natural, given the former owner's line of work)*Privacy gates on the sidedecks proffer exterior access sequestration. From the master suite there is a hall leading to maim hall with winding staircase and elevator, and from there to the previously announced formal dining room with fireplace.

* "We always have a deckhand standing by on a Waverunner (to catch any balls that bounce out of court)."

One deck below, on the main deck there are 5 cabins: 2 mirrored VIP suites with king-size beds, 1 guest suite with king-size bed, and 2 twin cabins that can be converted into 4-bed cabins, offering flexibility for families or charter parties. 2 twin cabins have been designed with the same attention to detail and luxury as the master suite.

The layout in the 5 guest rooms is similar in that at the foot of the bed is a writing desk with hidden TV above; each has a window floating lounge chair, and exotic materials including wall coverings of shagreen (sting ray skin), leather, metallic, inlays, and genuine suede for headliners.

WHISPER has an unusual feature called a 'Sea cabin', a large and elegantly appointed, as in copper ceiling with tobacco leaf inlay, carefully placed on the lower deck on portside amidships, where motion will be at a minimum for guests who suffer from seasickness.

In addition to this, WHISPER offers separate crew quarters for up to 26 ensuring an excellent crew to guest ratio for the highest standards of service.

The foyers, halls and staircases between the guest areas are worthy of special mention. Panels on the walls made of fabric, suede and smooth leather, expensive woods, glass and metal inlaid with intricate images; glass and marble floors; flying steps of stairs with elegant metal details on the railings is a theme repeated in other decorative applications - create a fantastic feeling of a showman's palace, and a transparent elevator of glass and steel connecting all decks only emphasizes the grandiosity of this colossus on the water.

“The spa was mandated by the owners to be a place they can just chill out in.”

SPORT & BEAUTY

The lower deck deserves a separate description, as it is in charge of the sports component of the WHISPER.

Designers found a way to make working out an appealing if not enticing activity. The sea terrace is a fold down platform from the lower deck foyer and entry and extends for waterfront views while treading the mill. The pocket doors allow for fresh air and redefine water exercises. (When returned to its vertical position, outside light and views are still provided through windows).

The spa is certainly amazing, not only in its appearance but also in its location. Unlike all superyachts, this one is located in the heart of the lower deck and is finished in dark stone with black and gold mosaics to create an intimate, cozy but slightly mysterious atmosphere. It has a hammam, a spa bath, a cold plunge pool, a steam shower and a massage room with an onboard spa therapist.

There is also a separate hair and beauty salon, with a dedicated onboard hairdresser.

WATER ACTIVITIES

Without deviating from the owner's mission to make WHISPER the "ultimate" charter yacht, an experienced crew will offer you a wide range of outdoor activities. An impressive array of tenders, jet skis, seabobs, paddleboards and other water toys are stored in the garage, which also serves as a place for aerobics and yoga classes on the water.of  possibilities for enjoying some activities. Storing her impressive range of tenders and toys in a garage which doubles up as a spot for some waterside aerobics and yoga, superyacht WHISPER is also fully prepared for the more adventurous charter guests who are keen to get out on the water and in amongst the action.

PERFORMANCE & RANGE

Built with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, the displacement WHISPER offers unprecedented stability and stability while underway, enhanced by a high-tech stabilizer system. As for speed, powered by twin 2,720hp Caterpillar 3516-C diesel engines, the 2,928GT yacht can reach a top speed of 17 knots and a maximum range of 6,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.

ECO-FRIENDLY YACHT

With an eye for greener alternatives to standard engineering, superyacht WHISPER features an innovative ‘closed loop system’ which allows the pool, Jacuzzi, and other sources of water to be heated via her exhaust- yet further evidence that she is a yacht at the forefront of design.

CREW

The international, hand-picked crew of 27 and the captain are a match for the ship and you will be 100% satisfied with the service.

There are eleven stewardesses aboard to tend to the interior serving and servicing needs of the occupants. Each stew is qualified to do double duty in the beautification areas on people as well as the yacht. The stews’ other talents include one each who is an aesthetician, manicurist, hair-stylist, masseuse, yoga teacher, pilates instructor… Double your pleasure, double your fun.

So once on board, leave all your worries behind and give yourself up to the new WHISPER flow of time  and the reliable hands of its crew.

P.S.

Believe or not:

WISPER ( as 'KISMET') starred as an actress in the 150 million project "Ghost Six" of the streaming service "Netflix", named the most expensive in its history. The directing chair was taken by Michael Bay, and the leading roles were performed by Ryan Reynolds and James Franco. In the center of the plot - a conscious billionaire, who faked his own death and started a new life to fight evil in the world. All members of the team he recruited are given numbers instead of names, and their goal becomes the overthrow of the dictator and the liberation of the people of the country of Turgistan.

The movie was released in 2019 and now you have a unique opportunity to combine a blockbuster watching with the place of its action!
