NAIA

THE GAME СHANGER ADVENTURER

Built for World Cruising, NAIA Will Conquer Your Heart and Mind.

NAIA is a name worth remembering because it is the name of a yacht that will keep your mind occupied for a long time. This 73.6m private expedition superyacht with a highly durable steel displacement hull and aluminium superstructure, built by Freire de Vigo Galicia shipyard to comply to MCA and Lloyds Register standards and was, until recently, the largest vessel of her class launched in Spain. Let the elegant look created by the British naval architects BMT Nigel Gee and Associates not deceive you: this is a true explorer, capable of anything, while combining the best that the luxury superyacht industry has offered over the last decade.

NOTABLE EXPLORER'S FEATURES

NAIA has two round-the-world voyages and multiple wintering trips in northern latitudes under her belt. All this was made possible by the owner's thought at the design stage.

  • In addition to the aforementioned displacement steel Ice Class 1D hull, NAIA has a huge 10,000 nautical mile range from her 342,690 litre fuel tanks, which would allow her to cruise from Spain the Australia and back without re fuelling. If you add to last her speed characteristics: a cruising speed of 12 nautical knots and a maximum speed of 18, as well as advanced stabilization system, you realize that this is a truly comfortable water castle.
  • Want to explore the Ocean's depths? NAIA featuring the 9m oceanographic research submarine, with a capacity for five people to dive up to 165 m deep. She was built custom at an Italian Shipyard in Trieste, powered by electric propulsion and can reach a surface speed of 8 knots and can submerge at a speed of 6 knots.
  • Want to see a landscape area by helicopter with all charter party guests? The NAIA has an HCA-certified heliport for that purpose. The oil platforms in the North Sea are equipped with these same platforms by the way.
  • Want to transmit all your expedition emotions online? For uninterrupted communication with the global network, 4 high-tech dome antennas are installed on board.
  • Then how about NAYA sustainability and eco-friendly, you ask? As you know only a few yachts have the right to cruise in the rare animals' habitats. But Naya is among them. She is featuring a special effluent treatment system on board that cleans the water so thoroughly that it has gained admittance to the planet's most ancient and fragile ecosystems.

GUEST ACCOMMODATION

In 2014, NAIA changed her's owner and was completely re-equipped, which benefited her interior layout and the guests' comfort. Today she offers an impressive 800m2 of accommodation for up to 12 guests in 8 cabins and features interior styling by British designer Mark Berryman Design*, divided into four decks.

Superyacht designer best known for penning the interiors of the largest superyacht available for charter, the 136-metre 'Flying Fox' by Lürssen.

An owner's private deck wich accessible by the lift with special code spans an entire “penthouse” private deck with fore and aft terraces, offices and a mesmerizing 360º panoramic view. Five of the guest staterooms (one VIP Suite with an Emperor bed, four double/twin King size convertible suites) are situated on the main deck. In 2014, the former Laboratory has been converted into a new double guest en suite with a King size bed and one single en suite with a Pullman.

Combining wood, bamboo and natural stone, all in a balanced warm colour palette, in a design that is minimal with ample amounts of detailing, texture and smart design elements. Suite's bathrooms deserves particular attention: using details of stainless steel and wide mirrors in them enhances a sense of cleanliness and space, a perfect ambiance for daily rituals.

In addition of the eight guests cabins, NAIA has the hospital cabin (1 single), the pilot cabin (2 single bunk beds) and a staff cabin (2 single bunk beds) which can be used for staff only. These are not considered as guest cabins and are located in "crew areas".

INTERIOR

Mark Berryman’s interior design feels both extravagantly luxurious and soothingly calm. Oriental motifs, clean lines and casual elegance are the calling card of the superyacht design maestro, who is all about the tactile side of design which is why NAIA features so many natural finishes in bamboo, rattan, oak and walnut furniture.

"Our aim is to encourage owners and their guests to come into a space and be drawn into the materials and finishes".

The former also functions as a fully equipped cinema with a 120-inch screen, making it possible to watch favorite movies programs and streaming entertainment services on the state-of-the-art entertainment system. Next to the main salon is the lobby with spiralling staircase - a true work of art - which connects all decks. If you don't want to use the stairs, choose the glass elevator to reach the library or the fully-stocked a 54- square-meter gymnasium with picturesque panoramic views, Jacuzzi and Japanese garden.
