SURI

On SuRi, The Impossible Is Always Possible.

Unique in its kind, a truly multi-purpose ice explorer-class vessel offering virtually unlimited water recreation opportunities you could dream of. Whether it's warm southern seas, Norwegian fjords, Arctic ice, the desire to circumnavigate Antarctica or go around the world - all this and more is possible with the versatile SuRi. She is specifically designed for adventure off the beaten track - so don't miss out on the opportunity!

FROM CONCEPTION TO IMPLEMENTATION

Originally conceived as a support vessel for the motor yacht Hakvoort JeMaSa,  SuRi ended up being much more than a support vessel - a true expedition yacht with capabilities never before seen in the yachting world. This is not a marketing slogan by the way: because virtually no other vessel can offer the combination of luxury, adventure, equipment and crew that SuRi was purpose-built to provide.  SuRi.

BENEFITS

Rugged rigid displacement steel hull 63, 39 meters long. Heavy-duty Caterpillar 3508C series marine diesel engines, high safe sideboards, spacious decks with plenty of opportunities for outdoor dining, games, sunbathing or just relaxing with a cocktail, Jacuzzi overlooking the ocean, full helicopter pad, huge garage for all kinds of expedition equipment (helicopter, seaplane, tenders, jet skis of all kinds, sailing yacht, hovercraft, own submarine, motorcycles, bicycles, kayaks, seabobs, diving and fishing equipment and much, much more because of SuRi toy garage SuRi is constantly replenished with new items).

INTERIOR

But that's just the exterior; once inside, you'll be immersed in the comfortable interior by American designer Jeffrey Botwin and surprised by the size of the cabins, which are larger than those on the most luxurious superyachts.

GUEST ACCOMMODATION

SuRi offers guest accommodation for up to 12 guests in 7 suites comprising a master suite, four VIP cabins, one double cabin and one twin cabin. There are 11 beds in total, including 6 king, 1 queen, 1 double, 4 singles and 1 convertible.

She is also capable of carrying up to 17 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

A BIT OF HISTORY

Launched in 1979 by Halter Marine, SuRi continues the noble tradition established by shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis and follows the famous M/Y  CHRISTINA O with two major refits. The first one in 2007 by Kirilloff & Associates and the second in 2012 by Stan Antrim of YES, which extended her by a full 11 meters and gave her a serious performance.

With an unlimited sense of adventure and a world just waiting to be explored, SuRi and her crew have undertaken many expeditions all over our beautiful blue planet. SuRi’s voyages have seen her brave the icy waters of Antarctica, island hop through French Polynesia, marvel at the sparkling coasts of Fiji, explore vibrant South East Asia, and tour down under to Australia and New Zealand.

You should try it too...
