A BIT OF HISTORY

Built in 1973 by German shipyard Hitzler Schiffswerft as an ice-class supply boat, Latitude was converted into an explorer yacht in 2003, designed for longer trips with a range of up to 10,000 miles. In 2018 LATITUDE was procured in Colombia by a current owner, an experienced charterer and perfectionist who approached the vessel with exceptional demands, wanting to give his family and guests a taste of a classic bygone era with personalized, unique experiences in the South Pacific. After 2 years and an impressive amount of money spent on a grand refit, the LATITUDE made her owner's dreams come true.

EXTERIOR

The main mast and flybridge navigation equipment has been re-designed, the enormous deck space with helipad, which can now easily accommodate two impressive tenders and a myriad of water toys, has been given a two-tier yoga deck (with room for eight practitioners) and addition of swim platform caters for family swimming below.

The polished wood framing and flooring on the bridge was restored to its original grandeur. But it’s the pool deck seating that has become the hub of the yacht, where family and friends gather for meals and drinks while children play in the large aft deck pool. There’s ample space for enjoying an alfresco lunch or dinner on deck, or simply lounging in the sunshine and working on your tan.

INTERIOR

The interior of the LATTITUDE has undergone a complete redesign and renovation to achieve the level of comfort the owner intended. The interior has shed the feeling of an expeditionary retro vessel and simplicity, instead getting a modern, light and airy "timeless" look - in expensive beige shades, Brazilian cedar, glass, metal, with impeccably comfortable furniture and luxurious custom-made armchairs.The “Great Room” on the foredeck is where breakfast is served.he windows are custom made bronze trimmed and provide panoramic views as well as allow for plenty of light. That, and custom artwork that is displayed throughout, make this room airy and welcoming.

GUEST CAPACITY

Latitude’s interior layout sleeps up to 12 guests in 6 rooms, including a master suite, 3 double cabins and 2 twin cabins.

The Master stateroom which includes an office is located on the top deck and offers good privacy plus the best view aboard. The suite opens onto a balcony that overlooks the pool/jacuzzi deck. The five guest cabins each have ensuite marble-floored bathrooms and are located below decks and forward.

CREW

She is also capable of carrying up to 14 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience. The crew's area is completely separated from the guest area so that nothing can distract guests from their perfect time.

The LATITUDE crew deserves a special mention, because there is the fact that before purchasing LATITUDE, the owner came onboard and spoke with every crew member, just to make sure the ship had a ‘soul. He believed that having the right crew was key to providing the best onboard experience.

ONBOARD COMFORT & ENTERTAINMENT

The sauna, designed specifically for cold latitudes staying, is a separate LATITUDE attraction that can be accessed from the main deck.

A Jacuzzi on deck is just perfect for relaxing with friends and family, while taking in the breath-taking scenery after a long day of exploration.

Wi-Fi connection is available throughout, so you’ll be able to stay connected while you’re away, great for business, checking emails or sharing your experience on social media.

Air conditioning keeps conditions comfortable throughout the cabins, even on the hottest of days or nights.

PERFORMANCE & RANGE

LATITUDE is a true pioneer and all-rounder that, with its ice-class displacement hull and steel superstructure, is capable of sailing around the world, and wherever the yacht ends up, it will give her passengers a feeling of security, comfort, great style and coziness. She has a cruising speed of 10 knots, a maximum speed of 12.5 knots and a range of 10,000nm from 242,266litre fuel tanks. Her combination of performance and style is admirable, adding further to her popularity overall.

This impressive yacht comes complete with a modern stabilization system to reduce roll motion even during rough seas, and the yacht also has ‘at anchor stabilizers’ to keep things smooth even at anchor/zero speed.

WATER ACTIVITIES

There are toys onboard including Sail Boat, 1 x 2 Person Kayak, Water-Skis, Surf Boards, Kite Surfer, Windsurfer, Inflatable Trampoline, and Fishing Equipment, ideal for keeping guests entertained as you sail.
